Individuals with various abilities often lack critical social & life skills, hindering their ability to interact with others safely. We noticed that individuals may face lifelong challenges in forming meaningful and safe friendships and other social relationships without a solid foundation in these challenging skills.
This was the driving force behind our team’s creation of Healthy Relationships. This comprehensive package of over 600 pages of essential lessons and activities provides individuals with the life & social skills they will need to move into the next stage of life safely. The lessons are accompanied by visuals, role plays, videos, activities, assessments, and home connections to ensure that all learners receive the instructions that are most successful for each individual.
Healthy Relationships is designed for a wide range of individuals with various abilities. This comprehensive program is versatile enough to be used across various environments, including all grade levels within school districts and community organizations that support individuals in developing skills for safe community interactions.
The program’s online platform, myHRC, offers the ability for these essential skills to be reviewed and strengthened in and outside a classroom or group setting and shared with parents or caregivers for maximum retention.
